The Diadora N9002 “Cabernet” and the Diadora Maverick “Chardonnay” pay homage to Diadora’s Italian heritage and sneaker culture as both colorways fuse storytelling and design.
Italy is known for a few things like amazing food, art, and most importantly its wine.
For those who don’t know, Italy is the world’s largest wine producer and exporter, and accounts for more than 50% of the global market.
To tie in Diadora’s Italian roots, I wanted to create two sneakers inspired and named after the most popular wines, Cabernet and Chardonnay
Both colorways embody exquisite taste and next-level storytelling as both draw inspiration from the wine-making grapes with premium materials and thoughtful details, including the cork insoles.
Take a detailed look at both upcoming colorways below. The “Wine Collection” release on March 24, 2021, at Footaction.com for $150. Keep it locked on Nice Kicks and the sneaker release dates page for more information on upcoming drops from your favorite brands, including Diadora.
