OG Post 07.17.20 // Are we getting another Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 collab in 2021? It appears that it might be the case, with word breaking of an Air Jordan 6 SP “British Khaki” release sparking some speculation.
News shared by sneaker sleuths @PY_Rates has a Special Project release pegged for the Spring of 2021, an Air Jordan 6 that arrives in British Khaki, Bright Crimson, and Sail — the same combination of colors seen on-foot of La Flame extremely briefly during an Instagram Story post back in April earlier this year:
The quick and likely accidental flex gave us all something to deliberate over for a few months, and should this reported release in fact be a Travis Scott collaboration, you can expect it to arrive with sandy suede uppers, darker brown mesh tongues, translucent tongues, and bright crimson branding accents. we’ve taken the liberty to whip up a Photoshop mock-up of La Flame’s pair to give you a better idea of the possible release — but keep in mind that this may not reflect the final product.
Update 09.21.20 // Sneaker-leakerSHOF has revealed that yes, our inclination was right, that next Spring’s Air Jordan 6 is will be a Travis Scott collaboration.
Update 01.09.21 // First (incomplete) looks at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki” has arrived. The imagery of the sample pair shared by @yeezymic shows a few variations in design and construction to his freshman Air Jordan 6 release. Material-wise, we see that Travis has opted for a heavier suede, while alterations to the design include an added medial ankle zip pocket, and the addition of signature Travis Scott motifs on the medial midsole, and underfoot — the latter peering through a semi-translucent outsole. It’s also important to note that pairs will be arriving in full family sizing.
