Gone is the glow for YEEZY brand, instead opting for a new gimmicky-finish on their YEEZY 350 silhouette — UV sensitive transitioning. Previously revealed as part of Summer’s “Mono” pack, the YEEZY 350 v2 “Light” features a UV-sensitive stripe and Primeknit upper that changes slightly in hue when exposed to sunlight.
Arriving unadulterated in a cream-monochrome colorway, the pair includes some hidden hues only revealed after UV exposure. The midfoot stripe transitions to a shade of amber, whilst flecks throughout the Primeknit assume a light pink hue. Though this technology is new to the YEEZY brand, it’s not new to the world of sneakers, with customizers utilizing the tech for the better part of the last decade.
The YEEZY 350 V2 “Light” is currently earmarked for release on August 21st, 2021 for the usual $220 price point. As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates. Until then, enjoy a quick look at the mock-up transition below.
