It may have only just ticked over to April, but sneaker-leakers already have their minds cast towards the back-end of the year. Holiday drops are often some of the biggest of the year, with the annual Air Force 1 “Halloween” typically one that kicks off proceedings for the final quarter of the year. The last three years have seen skeleton-printed options in white, black, and orange respectively, each an instant sell-out. And though it won’t be a bone-themed release for 2021, we’re expecting the same, unattainable result come October.
Sneaker-insider PY_Rates has given us the pair’s first information, suggesting that the 2021 Air Force 1 “Halloween” will appear in a seasonal black, sail, and Starfish arrangement, complete with glow-in-the-dark detail draped across the black leather upper. This year, though, it opts for ghastly, peering eyes that pop up when light is low. From owls to ghosts, to God knows what, the pair presents several set of eyeballs that’s enough to creep out those in you’re immediate vicinity. Liners and outsoles arrive in orange hues, while sail midsoles house the two aforementioned colors at the heel accents to complete the design.
