First Looks // Air Jordan 5 Low Wings “Class of 2020-2021”

In this day and ages, it’s rare for an Air Jordan leak less than a month away from its retail arrival, but as is the case for this upcoming Air Jordan 5 Low WF “Black/Metallic Gold”, which has just seen its first information leak ahead of its release next month.

Sneaker sleuth @zSneakerheadz has unveiled the release for May with little information provided. The source does suggest that the pair is arriving next month, but just how it will be blocked and in what materials remains a mystery. Given that the pair has been kept so tightly under wraps — and with the mysterious WF title attached — it may well be a special edition Wings Foundation program release. With so many questions left unanswered, we’ll be watching along patiently for more details.

Update 04.17.21 // A first and official looks at the Air Jordan 5 Low Wings “Class of 2020-2021” have landed courtesy of @US_11. Though the special-edition release arrives in a simplistic black and gold blocking, it does arrive with a bevy of special finishes. Firstly, uppers of black nylon are capped at the toe, mid-panel, and heel in buttery-soft black leather. Smokey black netting and blacked-out midsoles add to the stealthy theme, before bold gold pops up at the forefoot teeth, tongue branding, and lateral ankle “20/21” branding. Gold badging on the insoles arrive in a classy gold foil, with signature black and gold feather graphics residing underfoot. Completing the scholarly theme are special WINGS hangtags and graduation tassels, too! Grab a first look at the release here below, and be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates on its expected release this May.

This pair is just one of an extensive lineup of Air Jordan releases previewed for the year ahead, all of which you can check out here on our comprehensive list of Air Jordan Release Dates for 2021.
