Inspiration for recent Air Max 90 releases have been far and wide. From fried chicken snacks to a Nike employee’s 1974 trip to New Hampshire, the silhouette surely has seen some interesting influence. This next, spotty number looks to mathematics for motivation, with the elementary Venn Diagram featuring prominently upon the tongue.
Its inclusion is intriguing, but thankfully it’s not all about maths. Here, it’s material that matters more, with spotted canvas uppers and mudguard overlays in white and grey respectively, grey suede overlays and tongues, and a bevy of semi-translucent finishes throughout. Eyestays, rear overlays, and branded panels all feature smokey grey-translucent tooling, while two-tone gum and black outsoles follow suit. Completing the design are jet black liners and insoles, and a set of translucent lace dubraes at the forefoot.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of the Nike Air Max 90 NRG “Venn Diagram” hit select retailers in the coming weeks. So while we await further details, grab a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter account for updates.
