Look familiar? That’s because they are. Revealed in mid-2020 as part of a three-piece pack of ballistic mesh-made colorways, this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black University Blue” has now reappeared in more traditional tooling under the same style code.
In what was clearly a photoshop-but-officially-loaded image gallery last year, the sneaker has now been officially updated on the Nike server to show a pair constructed in leather. Though its color blocking remains unchanged (save the midsole stitching now in white) we find white leather uppers overlayed by a semi-textured leather in black. This replaces the mesh and suede respectively, with Uni Blue collars also moving from mesh to leather. White nylon tongues arrive with tonal white laces above, and sole units of white and blue reside underfoot. Completing the design is a white Wings motif at the ankle, and black Jumpman branding at the tongue and insole.
A release date for this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black University Blue” has not yet been announced, but you should expect to see pairs arrive over the Spring/Summer season. Until confirmation arrives, take a look at the official images here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
If you can’t wait it out, there are ample pairs already available right here on the eBay aftermarket.
