Jordan Brand has shown a recent fondness for heavy-duty tooling on their retro line. With a winterized Air Jordan 12 and Air Joran 4 in the books, the brand looks to add a second heavy hitter to join Winter’s retooled Air Jordan 14 with this revamped Air Jordan 12 Utility.
First looks at the pair provided by @zSneakerhedz show that the pair will arrive fairly familiar up top, with tumbled black leather the go-to base. Mudguards appear to show a hardened rubber finish, while tongues take on a tough ballistic mesh. The outdoor theme continues with pops of vibrant orange at the branding and side Jumpman panels, while outsoles arrive in what appears to be a recycled grind rubber of blue with fleck. Eyestays stay a standard silver, with branding at the tongue assumes a burnt metallic finish, and rear tags opting for a tonal finish.
A release date for the Air Jordan 12 Utility is currently expected on August 28th. Until then, grab a first look at the release here below, and stay tuned into our official Twitter account for further updates over the course of the year.
