Though we’re not yet through the first half of 2021, leaks, news, and whispers of Jordan Release Dates for 2022 have already begun to filter through. With already-confirmed drops like the Air Jordan 1 High “French Blue” and the rumored return of the OG Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared” making headlines, another has appeared — and this one is big. Sneaker-leaker @zSneakerheadz has reported an upcoming Air Jordan 6 “UNC” for early 2022, continuing the Jumpman’s annual Tar Heels-themed drops for March Madness.
The source has not only confirmed the release but also provided an exact mock-up of the release, so what you see above and below is what you should expect to see come March next year. The pair presents with University Blue suede uppers, smooth white leather overlays, and a bevy of Navy accents throughout. The latter hits the heel clip, liner, lace locks, and midsole paint. All three hues come together on the Air Jordan 7-inspired tongue, while white and icy-translucent outsoles reside underfoot. Completing the design is the PE-inspired garment tag at the back — a staple inclusion on Jordan Brand’s PE-inspired releases from years past.
Sit tight for a first look, though, as it may differ slightly from this render below, and make sure you’re following us on Twitter for developments.
This pair is just one of an extensive lineup of Air Jordan releases previewed for the months ahead, all of which you can check out here on our comprehensive list of Air Jordan Release Dates for 2021/22.
