Nike’s new “First Use” collection — a series of sneakers tributing the Swoosh’s official trademark date — has graced a fair few footwear choices thus far, most of which have centered around the classics. But the brand’s new models aren’t exempt, with one of the brand’s newest designs appearing in theme. Enter the Nike Air VaporMax Plus “First Use” for the second time, this one arriving with a lot more restraint than the first.
Ditching the bold black and fiery hues found on the first release, this pair opts for tonal beige selections across its signature smorgasbord of overlays. Mesh, suede, and plastics make up the bulk of the light hues, before a striking smokey grey Swoosh, midfoot support, and heel clip come into play. Most interestingly are the air’s use of bright blue along the tongue liner and laces, though it has been a common color used across previous releases in the collection. Signature to the series, the pair is equipped with final touches like Swoosh history insoles and gold enamel Swoosh lace jewels.
This Nike Air VaporMax EVO “First Use” in beige is yet to receive a confirmed date, but with momentum for the collection mounting, you can expect to learn more on its release soon.As always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates, and until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below.
