After a basketball-themed release was uncovered back in April, and a duo of CHAOS/BALANCE Dunk Highs back in February, it appears that Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER imprint may well have another Nike Dunk in the works.
While each of those releases features fairly obvious branding and callouts, a first teaser look at this new Nike Dunk High “Red Camo” only shows its alignment to the brand via its modified curled-in collar and ultra-high eyestay peak. Though void of any visible branding, it does assume a camouflage finish — a commonality for UNDERCOVER — we can only assume that that pair belongs to Jun, but cannot confirm. As for the design, the pair arrives anchored in smooth smokey grey leathers, with the titular print applied to the overlays. Smokey nylon tongues are met with tonal trim, while the sock liners match the Swoosh, heel pull, and outsole’s vibrant red render. Aged-look midsoles arrive to add a vintage aesthetic, and the pair is complete with two set of laces.
Word on its official story will be revealed at a later date, but until then, you can grab a first look at the Nike Dunk High “Red Camo” here below, and expect to learn more about the releases as we edge closer to the tail-end of the year.
