When it comes to kids’ footwear, Jordan Brand often expands its influence. While adult options tend to look inward at Mike’s storied career, kids-exclusives tend to take from childhood fascination; the recent Ice Cream-flavored pack of Jordan 1 Lows and Mids and the upcoming DIY Air Jordan 4 are prime examples. For Holiday 2021, the brand will tribute a classic children’s book from 1963 written by Maurice Sendak for a special girls-exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Where the Wild Things Are” release.
Update 08.20.21 // First looks at the kids-exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Where the Wild Things Are” have arrived via @zsnekaerheadz and @brandon1an. Differing slightly in hue and textile from the original mock-up, the pair arrives in a fairly light cream-beige and brown, with plush fur collars and a slew of colorful mismatched eyestay accents. Insoles alternate in color too, and the pair is completed by a sole unit of white, brown, and light gum.
